ABOUT THE RETREAT:
Step away from the busyness of daily life and enter a space of quiet reflection and spiritual renewal. During this retreat, we will engage in meditation, mantra recitation, and contemplative practice inspired by Green Tara, the female Buddha of compassion and enlightened activity. The retreat provides an opportunity to calm the mind, open the heart, and cultivate the qualities of wisdom, courage, and loving-kindness.

ABOUT THE RETREAT LEADER:
Ven Tony Beaumont first encountered the Buddha-Dharma in Nepal and India in 1976. Before ordaining as a monk in 1991, he trained and worked as a psychiatric nurse for four years. He then spent seventeen years at two FPMT monasteries—Nalanda Monastery in France and Thubten Shedrup Ling Monastery in Bendigo, Victoria, where he also served as director. Over the years, Ven Tony has led retreats and taught at FPMT centres around the world, as well as in prisons and schools.
Ven Tony has a long association with De Tong Ling Retreat Centre, where he has undertaken numerous personal retreats and guided many group meditation retreats. His teachings are valued for their wisdom, warmth, and practical approach, and participants consistently describe his retreats as inspiring, insightful, and deeply beneficial.
