All welcome to our AGM. What a year!

During the meeting, reports on the Centre’s activities and financial situation will be presented and Board members will be elected. 

All Board positions but two (the Director and Spiritual Programme Coordinator) will be open for nomination by financial members and you are most welcome to consider becoming part of our friendly team. We are particularly looking for a secretary, as well as people interested in fund-raising and publicity. Attached is a nomination form which can be brought to the meeting.

If you are unable to attend the AGM you may appoint a proxy to act on your behalf, by submitting a completed proxy form to me no later than 24 hours before the time of the AGM.  Your proxy must be a financial member of DTL and it is quite common to appoint the chairperson of the meeting to be your proxy and vote on your behalf. Observers are welcome at the AGM, but only De-Tong Ling members are able to vote. 

Unfortunately we won’t be able to offer our usual afternoon tea but this will still be a pleasant opportunity to hear how the Centre is travelling and what is planned for the future, as well as to meet others who are associated with the Centre.

Thank you to those who have already renewed their membership or who have newly become members of the Centre. For those who haven’t, please consider membership. Being a member of De-Tong Ling will enable you to have a say at AGMs, as well as making a valuable contribution to the well-being of the Centre.
